In my evaluation of the Oppo A74 5G smartphone, I found that it offers a tonne of capability for a device that costs less than $600. Its big 5000mAh battery gave it the capacity to endure for several days, and its ColorOS 11 (now 12) operating system let me customise practically everything, including my wallpaper, ringtones, and even my typefaces.

It's one thing to have a good phone, but quite another to actually understand how to optimise its feature pack and settings to enjoy its full potential. I'm referring to utilising features that can really unlock the phone's full potential and simplify your life, such Split Screen Mode, Screen Recording, and Data Backup.

It can take some time to learn how these functions operate, and without a manual, your best chance of becoming familiar with some of the difficult ones is by trial and error. I've done the research and compiled this list of 10 tips and techniques for using Oppo's new entry-level smartphone in order to make things simple for you. You should experiment on your own, though, as there are many more useful options available if you take the time to look around.

1. How to enable Split Screen, first.

You can run two apps simultaneously thanks to this capability. For instance, you might be using the same portion of your screen to see a YouTube video and browse the web at the same time.

1) Verify that Split Screen Mode is turned on. Select Convenience Tools from the Settings menu, then choose Split screen. To activate Split Screen, swipe right. To enable split screen, use three fingers to swipe up. Additionally, you may make an app appear in split-screen mode by holding down the Recent button (denoted by three horizontal lines).

2) Next, open the first application you want to see on your split screen and slide three fingers up. The app will be placed to the top of your screen as a result. To share the bottom of your screen, launch a different app.

3) Adjust the slider at the top or bottom of each split window to determine how much space each programme occupies on the screen.

Several regularly used apps, including Facebook, Google Play, YouTube, and Google Chrome, offer split-screen viewing.

2. How to Take a Screenshot

Take screenshots of web pages as you browse them or while playing games, chatting, or using any other programme.

1) Open the programme, then pull up the picture you want to take a screenshot of on the screen.

share the image, click the share icon at the top of the screen, or click the thumbnail to view a larger version of it. If you'd like, you can edit it right now.
