Make sure your iPhone is running the most recent iOS 15 version before continuing.

The advice we're about to give also applies to older iPhone models running the most recent version of iOS 15, such as the iPhone 12 and iPhone 11 models.

Reachability:

This has to be one of the nicest and most user-friendly features added to the iPhone since the iPhone 6 Plus, and it's also a personal favourite of ours.

This function is still available on the iPhone 13, and it's even more wonderful because you can access the upper half of your screen by just swiping down on the Oct 05, 2021 · Swipe down on the home bar or bottom center of the screen to activate Reachability. Now that you've enabled Reachibility, you can activate the feature within any app by swiping down on the horizontal bar, also called the home bar, at the bottom of your screen.

Fun fact: The first iPhone's 3.5-inch screen size was quite large at the time compared to the competition, and Apple maintained this screen size all the way up to the iPhone 4s.

Apple stayed with this screen size because it was thumb-able, which means you could access the full screen with just your thumb without moving the phone in your palm.

It was impossible to do this with larger iPhones.Touch.

For shortcuts, tap the back of you.

This one is quite cool and ir iPhone.nteresting, and it's not particularly obvious on an iPhone, so I bet you wouldn't have guessed it.

Select Back Tap from the Touch menu under Settings > Accessibility > Touch to make this function active.

After deciding whether to use Double-Tap or Triple-Tap, you can set your preferred tap to any accessible job from the list.

The camera app's live text feature.

Here, Apple has truly excelled itself.

A little icon that looks like text bars enclosed in a square with rounded corners will display in the lower right side of your camera window when you open the camera app and focus on any image with text.

When you tap this icon, the iPhone camera will immediately take a screenshot of the text, which you can subsequently copy and paste or search for online.

As an alternative, you can select the text directly from an image by long pressing on it after you've taken the picture and returning to it in the Photos app.

However, there's more!

If an address is listed, clicking on it will launch your Maps App and display it on a map for navigation.

The Address Bar in your Safari browser can be moved around.

The address bar on the Safari browser has been moved to the bottom of the screen by Apple for some reason, which is pretty unpleasant.

But there is a fix, so don't worry.

Simply touch the address bar, click on the two letters "AA" on its left, choose the "Show Top Address Bar" option, and presto

Reverting to how Safari used to be

Because you're a weirdo, would you like to reposition it at the bottom?

Target Mode.

With the fantastic new Focus Mode feature, you can design your iPhone home screen to reflect how you use it.

In order to reduce distractions and utilise your phone more effectively while in concentrate mode, you can use Focus Mode to create a personalised home screen with the apps, settings, permissions, notifications settings, and contacts of your choice to reach you at work or at home.

For instance, you may programme your phone to automatically switch between a "work focus mode" when you're at work and a "home" or leisure mode when you're at home based on the time of day.

Even better, you can design your own focus mode to your preferences and switch between them depending on where you are. This feature can be used in a tonne of unique ways, so it's certainly worth experimenting with.

Look Up Information in Photos.

This clever little hack, which is an improvement over the "get info" or "details" function we are already accustomed to seeing on Apple devices, enables you to figuratively look up pertinent information in your photographs.

Ask Apps Not to Track for Better Privacy.

We now have the lovely option of choosing whether or not apps can monitor us thanks to Apple's recent efforts to place a greater emphasis on user privacy.

Every time you install and launch a new app, it will ask for your consent to track your activities. This is how it works.

"Are you ready to send it?" asks Siri. and you can just respond "Yes" to have the content shared over Messages.

Siri will snap a screenshot of any content that cannot be shared (such as the current weather report) and pass it on.

Pretty Cool.

Macro and Close-Up Photography (Exclusive to iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max)
